IM BACK!!!!!!

Mon Sep 8, 2008, 8:04 AM
Ok, so the past 9 weeks have been pretty awesome!! Ive learned a lot, including how to operate Backhoes, Dozers, Skidsteers(ie Bobcats) Front End Loaders, Scrapers (though i hated that beast) Excavators, Compactors, and Motor Graters. On top of that, Ive learned (not that I didnt know already) how to read advanced blueprints, Shooting Grade(surveying), and into soil knowledge. So now Im going to have to find a job. Not a joyous thought, but its something I need to get to. ON a lighter note, I recieved for my birthday from my wife Three new Engines. One is a Blueline Southern GP9, with sound! That is awesome. Also got a KATO SD45 Santa Fe Engine(she didnt know that I deal with the East, but its still an awesome engine none the least) And an older Athearn SW900(I think thats what it is) Maybe I can put a picture up and someone can tell me what it is exactly (she got it at a Train show, so it was not in its original packaging) I took of the handrails and Lackawanna decals off so its all black currently. Ok, So I will let you all go, and Hope to hear from you all. I will if you havent seen already post some pics from school up!

Being gone for a bit

Tue Jun 24, 2008, 8:16 AM
Due to the slow economy where I live, jobs in retail are nonexistent. While I was working for :target: I was barely getting hours as is, So I was going through my email two weeks ago, and found an email from a Heavy Equipment school that I had asked for info last year, and though the good fortune of God almighty, I am starting on July 7, and will graduate in September. Because I have to go to West Florida, and will be away from the Internet for 9 weeks. I think Im gonna have some massive Internet withdrawals. So I wont be on for a bit. Once I graduate, I expect to find a job real easily, but I will probably will have to move from this part of Fl. Im hoping to stay in the Orlando area, and if all else fails, I might move to Houston. It is all up in the air right now. I plan to be back in order by October. Pray for me and Rosie if you can :D

Coal Miners losing jobs due to Mine owner greed

Thu May 8, 2008, 9:29 AM
I am not an enviromentalist, not in a long shot. But I came across this video about a certain type of Coal mining that A) causes toxic consequences, B) Defiles the natural beauty of the Appalachians, and most important C) lays off many many coal mining jobs for efficiency. Please watch this video and get the word out!!!!

Remember that Amtrak train that rear ended a NS train in South Chicago? well yesterday while perusing youtube for train videos, I came across a security cam of the accident, and this is just amazing, in a sadistic way.[link]
